Crochet Long Cardigan Neon Coral Braids is a handmade small sleeveless vest working in crochet. Yellow and orange stripes adorn the ruffles of the bottom of the jacket.
Chiefly the main yarn is a neon coral color interwoven with a white cotton yarn and in places touches of orange, yellow and duck blue.
We choose for this piece a mix of straight and fancy braid stitches. In addition a curly fringe trim decorates the sleeves and the bottom of the vest is made of loose stiches.
Furthermore the closure of the crochet cardigan is made with four pairs of cords also made with crochet.
Not only the braided texture and coral neon color gives the piece a special relief.
But it will brightly enhance your outfits those summer evenings. Especially thanks to the fluorescent pigment of the coral acrylic wool. It reacts particularly well to black light.
Tata Christiane and the Crochet
I became interested in fashion at a very young age and the first pieces I made at the age of 12 were crochet pieces. My mother taught me the technique.
Since then, crochet has always been present in all my work and especially for the unique pieces. You can discover the archives of all this crochet work on my Pinterest profile. We update this archive almost daily.
I’m always inspired and learning new stitches from crochet tutorials that are online. A great source of new ideas.
In particular, I particularly enjoy this tutorial site by Lidia.
