Variations<\/h2>\n

Variations\u201d marks one of the earliest collaborations between Tata Christiane and visual artist Damien Elroy Vignaux \u2014 a creative encounter sparked in the heart of Berlin\u2019s artistic underground. Together, they brought to life the spirit of the Variations Chamanes<\/em> collection in a striking editorial shot inside the former Haus der Ungarischen Kultur<\/strong> (House of Hungarian Culture), near Alexanderplatz. Once a cultural embassy of Hungary during the GDR era, the building was later reborn as Klub HBC<\/strong>, a raw and vibrant hub for experimental art, music, and fashion. Within its faded grandeur and politically charged walls, this collaboration unfolded as a dreamlike s\u00e9ance, fusing costume, ritual, and image into a living tableau.<\/p>\n

“Originally from Toulouse, Damien Vignaux deploys his multiple talents under the name of artist Elroy (in reference to le roy, in old French). Initially oriented towards illustration and graphic design, his field of expression opened up to fashion photography and video when he moved to Berlin. This immersion in Berlin’s artistic abundance allowed him to expand his activity while testing new techniques and new visual imaginations.” You can read more about his work and his incredible work here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Variations Chamanes Collaborations<\/h2>\n

For the collections show, I worked according to the 13 planets guide.
\nThis collection has had many offshoots. First of all, for the show, I wanted to create masks related to this theme I had in mind, Shamanic Variations. A big cross-cutting inspiration in my work.
\nFirst of all, I collaborated with Elisa Cucinelli<\/a>, then an art student in Berlin. She made flesh-coloured, laser-cut latex lace for the masks.<\/p>\n

\nThe series of masks has been photographed several times by Valquire Veljkovic, Madame P\u00e9rip\u00e9tie and Daria Marchik. The masks and a part of the collection will also be part of an installation with Roman Ermakov and Daria Marchik at the Gogol Festival in Kiev.
\nWith this collection I also made my first collaborations with photographers for look books and editorials: Damien Vignaux and Daria Marchik ( Variations By Daria Marchik, 13 by Daria Marchik).

Variations Chamanes Inspiration<\/h2>\n

Variations Chamanes<\/a> is to be understood in the sense of musical variations. The shaman is a person considered by his tribe or group as an intermediary or intercessor between humans and the spirits of nature.
\nVariations Chamanes dreams around these dimensions attached to the role of the shaman, \u201csage, therapist, counsellor, healer and seer\u201d. The shaman is the initiate or repository of the culture, beliefs, practices of shamanism, and a potential form of \u2018cultural secret\u2019.The influence of traditional dress and costume as magical adornments is also very important in my work. The notion of a unique, particular, magical garment.<\/p>\n
