Each piece in our Unique Pieces Collection is crafted from upcycled vintage textiles old dead stocks. These fabrics already carry a history, and as such, you may find small imperfections or traces of time on their surface.

We see these not as flaws, but as part of their story — a reminder of their past life, now revived and transformed. By combining and reworking these materials, we highlight the beauty of their prints, textures, and unexpected dialogues.

This circular practice is at the heart of Tata Christiane: creating new from what already exists, honoring the potential that remains within forgotten fabrics. The result is always a one-of-a-kind garment, made to carry memory and imagination into the present.

Each piece is handmade in our studio in Berlin, created through our circular practice: making new from what already exists, honoring memory and material.

Care: We recommend washing at 30° on a gentle cycle, or cold wash for wool and silk.

Details

Baroque Patchwork Jacket Burgundy Multicolor is an expressive deadstock creation that blends opulent tapestry moods with playful textile collage. The body is shaped in a rich burgundy baroque motif, intricately patterned with cream and black flourishes that evoke antique interiors and woven storycloths. In contrast, the sleeves unfold in joyful stripes of coral, mint, peach, and pink, paired with botanical cream panels blooming in deep purples and reds.
The sculptural volume of the sleeves brings a soft romantic movement to the structured body, while the high collar and front closure give the piece a regal yet contemporary edge. The back continues the sumptuous baroque pattern, creating a striking dialogue between historic elegance and modern eccentricity. This jacket embodies Tata Christiane’s poetic reconstruction, offering a wearable piece of textile theatre.
