About Our Unique Pieces

Each piece in our Unique Pieces Collection is crafted from upcycled vintage textiles old dead stocks. These fabrics already carry a history, and as such, you may find small imperfections or traces of time on their surface.

We see these not as flaws, but as part of their story — a reminder of their past life, now revived and transformed. By combining and reworking these materials, we highlight the beauty of their prints, textures, and unexpected dialogues.

This circular practice is at the heart of Tata Christiane: creating new from what already exists, honoring the potential that remains within forgotten fabrics. The result is always a one-of-a-kind garment, made to carry memory and imagination into the present.

Each piece is handmade in our studio in Berlin, created through our circular practice: making new from what already exists, honoring memory and material.

Care: We recommend washing at 30° on a gentle cycle, or cold wash for wool and silk.

Digital Kaleidoscope Patch Top – A garment like a glitchy dream. This cropped top is made entirely from deadstock and past collection leftovers, stitched together as a fabric mosaic: vintage stripes, embroidered flowers, vibrant digital prints, orange gingham, and surreal motifs collide in joyful rhythm.

Wide puff sleeves and an orange-trimmed neckline add pop and charm. Each panel holds a memory, a scrap of fantasy, a moment of resistance. A celebration of collage, and of nothing going to waste.

Materials: Mixed deadstock fabrics (digital prints, gingham, stripes, jacquard)

Colors: Multicolor: orange, violet, pink, black, white, mint, blue

Fit: Cropped, loose fit with wide sleeves and round neckline

Sustainability: Handmade using a zero-waste philosophy from repurposed materials
