About Our Unique Pieces

Each piece in our Unique Pieces Collection is crafted from upcycled vintage textiles old dead stocks. These fabrics already carry a history, and as such, you may find small imperfections or traces of time on their surface.

We see these not as flaws, but as part of their story — a reminder of their past life, now revived and transformed. By combining and reworking these materials, we highlight the beauty of their prints, textures, and unexpected dialogues.

This circular practice is at the heart of Tata Christiane: creating new from what already exists, honoring the potential that remains within forgotten fabrics. The result is always a one-of-a-kind garment, made to carry memory and imagination into the present.

Each piece is handmade in our studio in Berlin, created through our circular practice: making new from what already exists, honoring memory and material.

Care: We recommend washing at 30° on a gentle cycle, or cold wash for wool and silk.

Twilight Garden Sheer Top – A top woven from dusk and bloom. This lightweight, semi-transparent blouse floats in soft floral chiffons—lilac and sky blue flowers over the body, with dramatic puffed sleeves in forest green layered with neon pink and saffron botanical accents. The silhouette is cropped and wide, held with a fine pastel-trimmed neckline.

Light as wind and vivid as memory, it’s a sensual layering piece that holds both delicacy and boldness. Made entirely from deadstock, it brings forgotten fabrics into a garment full of dreamlike clarity.

風のように軽く、記憶のように鮮やか。儚さと強さを併せ持つレイヤードアイテムとして活躍する一枚。すべての素材は残布から選ばれ、夢のような透明感へと再構築されました。
