Green Lace Cardigan is from our new Autumn Winter 2022-2023 Collection, "On the Road Again"

Green Lace Cardigan is composed by a cardigan made in Italy and reworked in Berlin with a lace composition and application. The button are in painted wood with birds. The composition is 55% Merinos Fine, 10% Cashmere, 20% Polyester, 10% Polyamide, 5% Cotton

This collection has several source of inspirations. First was the perspective of travelling after the long pause of Covid restriction. Conducting to question and reflect on what travel mean to me, what travel bring us as human being, how it enrich us a human by the contact to the other and the other cultures. Even if it has as well it s dark side and the legitimate question of the cost of the journey in ecological terms. But this should only encourage us to think more consciously about it and to consider other ways of travelling: literature, poetry, music for example, give us access to other people and other cultures. But also by reducing the distances of travel and choosing slower means such as walking, train etc. And to discover our surroundings.

The line is thus inspired by the diversion of some basics and by a certain travel culture, large and confortable shape, earthy color but also primary colors.

The quotations are the access to poetry and literature. The title refers to music, here Country, Through Willie Nelson. Proust's phrase appeals to the inner journey of memory and art. Mallarmé's sentence is a poetic paradox of chance and wandering.

Another inspiration is retro futurism seen in my own way: I wondered how retro futurism today would represent a future that is perhaps less futuristic but closer to the human and the material, less extravagant in terms of technological inventions but more in the beauty and our earthly dimension. Finally the reflexive suggestion "define what you need" which I think we need to explore in more depth.
